New York fashion expert and actress Caitlin McEachran has joined the cast of the crime thriller Detective Rose Thorne as Detective Gwen Payne. #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the recap.
Caitlin owns and operates Seam New York, a high-end fashion and accessories company located in New York City. Her clothing and
accessory lines were featured at the CANNES film festival this year and are currently being sold at The Alchemy at the Oculus World Trade Center.
Her film and television titles include The Devil’s Dancers, Consumed by Darkness and Trapped.
The official character description states that Gwen Payne is capable, observant, and steadily coming into her own. She carries herself with professional focus and a quiet determination to prove she belongs — not through noise or flash, but through competence and reliability. She is still relatively new to the weight of major cases, yet she does not shrink from them. There is an openness to her that contrasts with more hardened colleagues.
She listens carefully, absorbs quickly, and is willing to step forward when the moment requires it. With Rose, she develops a working relationship built on growing mutual respect; she is neither overly deferential nor trying to compete. She simply does the work.
“Detective Rose Thorne” is based on the book series of the same name published by Jumpmaster Press and is being developed for
television by Kord Enterprises Inc.
The series also stars Paul Wilson from “The Conjuring” franchise, Dan Overstreet and John Jacob Anderson from “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2,” and Aaron Smolinski known for his role as “Baby Superman” on “Superman: The Movie,” starring alongside the late Christopher Reeve.
The series has begun principal photography in Savannah, Georgia.
