“America’s Got Talent” alum and performer James Heugh of Positive Impact Movement chatted with #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos about their forthcoming movement festival in Las Vegas.

Movement festival in Las Vegas

Positive Impact Movement is throwing a three-day movement festival in Las Vegas Circus Center from April 21 to 23. “It has been so much work but I am very excited for it,” Heugh said.

“It’s going to take place from April 21 to April 23 at the Las Vegas Circus Center, and we are bringing all kinds of movements: acro, handstands, contortion, ninja warrior, trampoline, tumbling, dance, strength and conditioning.”

“This is the second movement festival that I am throwing,” he said. “Each year it is going to keep getting better and better.”

‘Ellen Show’

Following their tenure on “America’s Got Talent,” Travis Brewer, James Heugh, Nathan Tsuji, and Andreas Alfaro all performed on the “Ellen Show.” “What an experience that was,” Heugh said. “In my professional career, this was at the top of my life. What is crazy is that we got in there in her third last filming date ever.”

On his daily motivations, he said, “Something that motivates me every day is knowing that life is incredibly short, and it can get taken away from you at any moment.”

“Every day I wake up, I need to work as hard as I can to really explore the most out of life so that at the end of it, I’ll know that I left no chips on the table,” he added.

On the title of the current chapter of his life, Heugh said, “Career Development, at the moment.”

Heugh listed the root strengths (shot put, discus, hammer throw, and the javelin) as his favorite track and field events. “I would love to do anything that involves throws,” he said.

On his definition of the word success, Heugh said, “Just being happy.”

For his fans and supporters, Heugh said, “All of this would be completely impossible without them. We appreciate their support, encouragement and help along the way. There is no such thing as self-made, I am community made all the way through and through.”
