Patrika Darbo is Emmy-worthy for her acting work in “Days of Our Lives.” Last year, she returned to the screen as Nancy Wesley and she delivered gut-wrenching and powerful scenes, proving that she is one of the most underrated and versatile working actresses of her time.

Darbo deserves to be up for “Outstanding Guest Performer in a Daytime Drama Series.”

She triumphed in her dialogue-heavy scenes as Nancy Wesley in “Days of Our Lives,” which now streams on the streaming service Peacock, and her acting really ran the gamut last year, especially when she finds out that it was Clyde Weston (James Read) who murdered Abigail (Marci Miller). Darbo was able to strike a chord with the hearts of “Days of Our Lives” viewers.

There is never a shadow of any doubt that Darbo can nail any script she is presented, and she does so in a raw, organic and compelling manner.

Throughout her illustrious career in the entertainment business, Darbo has earned four Emmy nominations (three Daytime and one Primetime, for which she also won), and this year, she deserves to claim her fifth career nomination. She would be very deserving for the nod, and the same holds true for the win.

In an acting scale of one to five, where one is for beginner, two is for solid, three is medium, four is for amazing, and five is professional, Darbo’s performance (creativity and execution) is a six (where she deserves her own classification as a six being equivalent to PATRIKA DARBO).
