Erika Eleniak to reprise her ‘Baywatch’ role in new Fox sequel series

Erika Eleniak will reprise her “Baywatch” role if Shauni McClain in new Fox sequel series. #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the scoop.

According to Deadline, she will guest star in the series as Shauni, a former Baywatch lifeguard who is now a Santa Monica city councilwoman. Shauni will retutn to the beach to help Hobie kick off the annual “Beach Games” between the reigning champions of Baywatch and the Coast Guard.

Eleniak starred in the first two seasons of the original series before departing at the star of the third season.

The new Baywatch is set to premiere on Fox as part of the 2026-2027 season with Stephen Amell in the series lead role of Hobie Buchannon. David Chokachi will also reprise his role as Cody Madison.

The new cast features Jessica Belkin as Charlie Vale, Shay Mitchell as Trina, Hassie Harrison as Nat, Thaddeus LaGrone as Brad, Brooks Nader as Selene, and Noah Beck as Luke.

A few years ago, Eleniak was featured in the acclaimed docu-series “After Baywatch: Moment in the Sun,” which was written, directed, and executive produced by Matthew “Matt” Felker. The trailer may be seen below.
