Le Tout Va Bien is the quintessential French restaurant in New York to celebrate “National Lobster Day” on September 25th. #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the scoop.

Le Tout Va Bien, in French means “everything is fine”; it is the second oldest French restaurant in New York City and is known for its classic charm.

Established in 1949, Le Tout Va Bien reopened following the pandemic under the ownership of Vincent Caro, a native of Brittany, France. The restaurant has undergone a tasteful refresh while preserving its vintage ambiance, featuring family portraits of the original owners. The restaurant lies in Hell’s Kitchen in the theatre district and features a pre-theatre menu, as well as carefully curated brunch, dinner, and drink menus.

Le Tout Va Bien’s cuisine showcases authentic French comfort food through Vincent’s unique touch of nostalgic dishes with a juxtaposition of American classics. The warm waitstaff creates a comfortable environment.

Their Lobster dishes include:

·      Caesar de Homard & Crevettes (Brunch Menu), classic Caesar salad with half lobster out of shell and shrimp

·      Lobster & Shrimp Croissant (Brunch Menu), chopped lobster, shrimp, celery, cocktail sauce

·      Lobster Mac N’ Cheese (Dinner Menu), lobster meat, truffled cream, cheddar cheese

Speaking of “Ceasar de Homard & Crevettes,” this journalist recently tried this on the menu, and it was superb!
