Dancer, performer, and former swimmer Richard Pack chatted with #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos about his latest endeavors, which include performing for Magic Men Australia.

“The important thing in life is not victory but combat; it is not to have vanquished but to have fought well,” French educator Pierre de Coubertin, said. Richard Pack is such an individual.

Pack has been with Magic Men Australia since November of 2022. “As a dancer, though, I have been performing since January of this year,” he said.

He shared that he was a former competitive swimmer, and he loved swimming the 100 meter freestyle race.

Pack, who lives in Melbourne, is drawn to Magic Men Australia for several reasons. “I love the live performance, and having my best mates with me,” he said. “I couldn’t have come at a better time.”

Affectionately known as “Pacman,” he had positive words about all his fellow Magic Men Australia performers, which include Will Parfitt, Jaxon Human, Sean Wepener, Ceaser Smith, and Carlo Powell, among others.

The digital age

On being a dancer and performer in the digital age, Pack said, “It has taken me a little bit to wrap my head around it. I am very fortunate to have people like Will Parfitt, Ceaser Smith, and Jaxon Human, and they have shown me what is possible for me. It’s really cool.”

For young and aspiring performers, he said, “I definitely still see myself as a massive student. I’ve always been creative, and I’ve always loved dancing and I gravitated towards those things. I would say master the foundations and rinse and repeat. When the basics get effortless, that’s when people notice it.”

If he were to do any track and field event, he picked the “javelin throw.”

On the title of the current chapter of his life, Pack revealed, “New Beginnings.”

For his dedicated fans and supporters, he said, “If you have the right team and the right people around you that are true friends, you can do anything. Your ability to connect with others starts with yourself. Find the right tribe, and the people that are exactly like you. That’s what I’ve accomplished with Magic Men.”
