The finalists will be battling it out for the title of “The Next Reel Star,” which will premiere on Saturday, January 10th, 2026. The judges in that competition are looking for talent, charisma, and star power. There will be one winner, one title, and one role in an exclusive short film series.
“The Next ReelStar” is a reality competition series where men representing states across the country compete for a breakout lead role at ReelShort, with fans having the power to decide the winner.
Under the mentorship of judges Jesse Morales and Nicole Mattox, contestants join Team Jesse or Team Nicole, each striving to develop their star quality.
Through a series of high-stakes challenges, they’ll showcase their talent to impress a powerhouse panel of vertical industry professionals. For the first time in a vertical unscripted series, fans will have the power to vote in the finale, deciding which finalist is crowned “The Next ReelStar.”
