Nick Ritacco chatted with #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos about being a part of the 2026 VertiCon.
On being a part of VertiCon, he remarked, “We loved the event last year… it absolutely floored us. Brooke and I both talked about what a wonderful experience it was to share that with the fans and our colleagues. So, getting to meet the fans, and seeing how much our work is ingrained in their lives was very special for us. That’s a dream as an actor.”
“We are very excited to do VertiCon again this year. From what I’ve heard, it’s going to be bigger and better, and the arrow is only trending up. We’re so excited for round two,” he said.
Ritacco had great words about the VertiCon ladies Hollie, Michi (Michelle), and Donelle. “They are a dream. They are so great, and they’ve taken such good care of us. They are very open, transparent, and communicative as well. I call all three of them not only colleagues, but friends as well.”
Most recently, in his personal life, he got engaged to actress, Brooke Moltrum, which was a great come true. “We are both over the moon. We are pumped and excited,” he said.
For fans he stated about VertiCon, “Come with questions and curiosity. I think you’ll find that a lot of us actors love talking about what it is that we do and the commonalities that we share with the fans and the audience. Obviously, please continue to be respectful—we’re human beings—but come with questions and curiosity. We would love to answer your questions, bring you the inside scoop on things, and get to connect in that way. I think that’s a very special thing.”
