Vertical drama star Cayman Cardiff chatted with #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos about being a part of the 2026 VertiCon in Culver City, California, which will take place from August 21st to the 23rd.

Cardiff is best known for his work in such verticals as “The Cost of Touch,” “Forgive Me Father,” and “Under the Hood.”

On being a part of this year’s VertiCon, he exclaimed, “I am very excited! I think it will be a lot of fun. I think it will be a little bit different than last year’s event. When they had it last year, it was more experimental. “I look forward to doing the opening with Erin Orcutt.”

“I think there are going to be some experimental qualitieis this year as well because it is still very new, but I think people are going to have a better idea of what to experience. They will come in with a different energy and different vibes, and I am ready for that,” he noted.

“As I keep getting more and more established in this space, there are more and more people reaching out to me and thanking me and asking for cameos and things of that nature,” he said.

“I know there is this strong desire for the fans to connect with us, and I am grateful to do so. I really do enjoy connecting with the people that watch my work. So, I think VertiCon will be fun, and then, the Verties Awards will be a fun night as well,” he added.

For his fans and supporters, he remarked, “Overall, I cannot wait to meet everybody. If I’ve met you before, I am excited to give you another hug. I am excited to hear about what projects and what characters the fans watch and love. I just want to know what more I can do moving forward to make these verticals even more enjoyable for the audience.”

“This is all thanks to each and every person who watches… they are the reason why I am able to do what I love to do, and it honors me that they have found some emotional connection to these verticals, whether it’s hope or a sense of love and connection,” he noted.

“Ultimately, that is what I am trying to do… create emotions for people so that they can experience the things that they want to experience in life,” he concluded.
