Eric Martsolf has a major reason to be proud. He just celebrated his 21st anniversary on daytime television. #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the scoop.

Martsolf made his daytime debut on “Passions” as Ethan Winthrop back on July 8, 2002, and the rest is history.

He played the role of Ethan Winthrop until the cancellation of “Passions” on August 7, 2008.

Fastforward to November 13, 2008, Martsolf was recast as Brady Black on the NBC soap opera “Days of Our Lives,” a role that he has been playing ever since, where he made appearances in well over 1,600 episodes.

For his compelling acting performances as Brady Black, Martsolf won the 2014 Daytime Emmy Award for “Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.” He was nominated again in the “Supporting Actor” Emmy category in 2019.

In 2022, Martsolf scored his first-ever “Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series” Daytime Emmy nomination for his scenes opposite Stacy Haiduk.

In music, he is a part of the “Day Players Band” along with Wally Kurth, Carson Boatman, and Brandon Barash.

Dedicated “Days of Our Lives” fan Becca Carpenter expressed her congratulatory remarks on this milestone for Martsolf. “Congratulations Eric on your 21 incredible years on daytime TV. You have gripped audiences for over two decades with your emotional and powerful portrayals of both Ethan and Brady. Thank you for all you do as you have truly made soap operas such a captivating and beloved TV genre by many generations of viewers. I am really looking forward to seeing many more years of you on my screen,” Carpenter elaborated.

This September, Martsolf will be a part of the “Invasion of the Minions” benefit fundraiser for “Samantha’s Friends,” which will be held on September 9 and 10, in Lakewood Ranch, Florida, and it raises money for various charities.

Congratulations to Eric Martsolf on this milestone, and here’s to the next 21 years on daytime TV!
