In addition to No Time to Die, 2021 has made another huge acting job available as it was announced Jodie Whittaker would be leaving her role as the Doctor next year.
Romesh admitted: “I think I’d be more suited to be Doctor Who. One, because it’s sort of a quirkier kind of look.
“And secondly I’d finally get a chance to make my Asian mother proud. My only real chance of becoming a doctor.”
For now, though, the comedian’s fans will be thrilled to see him as the new host of The Weakest Link, but time will tell if his bid for Bond is taken into consideration.
The Weakest Link returns Saturday, December 18 on BBC One.
