Xbox Series X stock available to buy TODAY: Where to get Microsoft console

Anyone looking to get an Xbox Series X have been treated to some good news at the start of this week. The in-demand and powerful Microsoft console – which has been hard to come by ever since it launched in November 2020 – is available to purchase right now at a number of retailers. Both EE, Asda and Smyths Toys have the Xbox Series X in stock at the moment.

If you’re looking to purchase an Xbox Series X from Asda or Smyths Toys then you won’t be able to buy the console on its own.

That’s because the Xbox Series X is available at these retailers via the All Access prorgamme.

Xbox All Access lets you spread out the cost of a shiny new next-gen console with monthly payments, a la a phone plan.

If you’re getting an Xbox Series X with All Access then it will cost you £28.99 per month for 24 months, instead of the usual £449.99 standalone console price.

But for this price you won’t just get a new Xbox console, you’ll also get access to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

This subscription service bundles in access to Xbox Live so you can play games online, EA Play (so you can play FIFA, Madden games and more) plus the incredible Xbox Game Pass service.

The latter lets you access a library of hundreds of games without paying a single extra penny, and means you’ll get Day One access to first-party Microsoft games as well as other third-party titles.

Last year high-profile games such as Halo Infinite and Forza Horizon 5 were all available at launch on Xbox Game Pass along with third-party titles such as MLB The Show 21, Outriders and Back 4 Blood.

This year games such as the highly anticipated Starfield, Arkane’s new title Redfall as well as STALKER 2 will all be heading to Game Pass on Day One.

The Xbox Game Pass library is updated regularly, and this month there will be some big hitters being added – headlined by the Hitman trilogy compilation which is available with XGP later this week.

Elsewhere, if you’re an EE mobile customer then you can purchase an Xbox Series X via the mobile operator’s Add to Plan scheme.

This lets you purchase additional products with monthly payments added to the cost of your regular phone contract.

The Xbox Series X gaming bundle with EE costs £31 a month for 24 months along with a £10 upfront payment.

This deal will also include access to Xbox Game Pass ultimate as well as a Gamer’s Data Pass and EE Video Pass.

These add-ons mean any data you use for services such as Pokemon Go, Twitch, Netflix, Prime Video and more won’t be taken out of your monthly data allowance.
