Genshin Impact fans will get a closer look at update 1.4 thanks to today’s Livestream being hosted by Mihoyo.

And the good news is that the start time and details on how to watch the upcoming stream has been confirmed ahead of time.

Gamers will be able to tune in and watch all the big reveals, with recent leaks suggesting that a mix of new and old character banners will be featured.

Fans are also expecting special Genshin redeem codes to be shared during the stream for PS4, PC and Mobile gamers to use.

These will be available to use in Genshin Impact before the version 1.4 release date rolls around later this month.

However, we won’t know exactly what is being planned until the big Genshin 1.4 reveals start rolling in.

WHAT IS THE GENSHIN IMPACT 1.4 LIVESTREAM START TIME?

Developers MiHoYo has confirmed that the Genshin Impact 1.4 livestream start time has been scheduled for 4pm GMT, on Saturday, March 6.

An earlier stream is being hosted but this will not have English translation and is expected to be hosted on miHoYo’s official Bilibili page.

A message from MiHoYo confirms: “Dear Travelers, Today Paimon brings you great news! The Special Program for “Genshin Impact” version 1.4 will be officially released on March 6 at 11:00 (UTC-5)!

“The Special Program will be hosted on our official YouTube channel.”

There is no direct YouTube embed available for the Genshin Impact 1.4 livestream but the link for the page can be found here.

The new version of the game is expected to drop in mid-March, and data miners believe that Venti will be a big part of it, with Rosaria making her debut as a four-star.

This would mean a change of pace for MiHoYo and a potential slowdown in the number of new five-star characters coming to the game over the coming weeks.

However, it should be noted that this remains unconfirmed at this time, and we will have to wait for more news from the development team.

Other leaks have suggested that a number of new Character and Banners will be announced during this week’s Genshin Livestream.

The Genshin Leaks Twitter page posted a new 5-star character named Eula, which could be announced today.

Eula will wield a Cryo Claymore but is reportedly still in very early production and probably won’t be something included this month.

A translated message from one Genshin data miner adds: “So far as we know, the physical output of the five-star ice system is same as two one-handed swords (one auxiliary and one c in different positions), one two-handed sword, and one bow.”

And gamers have also been warned that when it comes to the new Genshin Impact Codes delivered during the livestream, these will only be useable on the right servers.

So gamers will need to make sure they are watching the correct livestream so they can use the correct codes.

A recent Q&A with the Mihoyo team also shared some insight into what other features are being upgraded with version 1.4, telling fans:

“In Version 1.4, the maximum amount of Condensed Resin that you can have at once will be increased! We will discuss this in detail during the Version 1.4 Sneak Peek Livestream.

“Resin notifications have been improved in Version 1.4. If you have Condensed Resin in your inventory when entering a Domain, you will no longer receive a notification about having insufficient Resin.

“In Version 1.3, the maximum Adventure Rank is 60. In Version 1.4, excess Adventure EXP gained after hitting Adventure Rank 60 will be converted into Mora.”
