“A badly done comfort break,” her co-host added. “We do have palliative care physician Dr Rachel Clarke who is on the front line treating the patients with Covid-19.
“The other reason you’re with us as well is to give us the insight because you’ve written this book Breathtaking which is a story of your experience being inside the NHS during the pandemic during the first of the surges of coronavirus.”
Discussing her reasons for writing the book, Rachel said: “Well that first wave back in March, April, May when we had no vaccine and no treatment.
