HRVY breaks down in tears after breaking Strictly record with Janette Manrara

Strictly Come Dancing saw HRVY and Janette Manrara take to the floor for their Couple’s Choice routine, where they danced to ‘A Sky Full of Stars’ by Coldplay. The pair were flooded with positive comments with Craig Revel Horwood referring to him as “the GOAT (greatest of all time)”. And when HRVY made it back to join Claudia Winkleman after the routine, the singer became emotional when his family joined him live via video-link.

Claudia said to the duo: “Both of you have been training 11 hours a day, you’ve been talking about how much you love your parents, how much they’ve supported you.

“They are so proud, should we go live to your family right now? Nicky, how proud are you of your baby right now?” Claudia asked HRVY’s mum.

“Oh, absolutely incredibly proud,” she replied, “We can’t wait for Saturday nights, you’ve just made us so happy Harv, honestly!”

“You’re making him cry!” Claudia commented as the star became tearful with HRVY adding: “I love you!” 

And those watching at home were impressed by the pair with one sharing on Twitter: “Not even gonna lie @HRVY got me crying I’m so proud!  #Strictly.”

“Who is the pro?  Can’t believe how good HRVY is and his partnership with Janette has been brilliant from the start. I’ll be watching this routine again many times. Fab-u-lous! #Strictly #StrictlyComeDancing,” shared another.

“HRVY has been really good this series and doesn’t get enough attention and recognition, apart from Bill’s, it was my fave Couple’s Choice #Strictly,” said another.
