PS4 gamers with both a PS Now and PlayStation Plus subscription will have the chance to play at least six new games this week.
This comes as part of a big PlayStation Store and Network refresh for December, affecting both PS4 and PS5 consoles.
And it won’t be long until we find out everything Sony has planned, including what new games are being added to the PlayStation Now service.
For those with both subscriptions, there should be at least six new games to play, including whatever extras Sony is planning.
Three new games are expected to be announced for the PS Now December 2020 lineup, with one being an indie title.
PS Now is a streaming-only service, so none of these games will need to be downloaded and installed onto your console.
It should also be noted that PS Now can also be accessed via a PC by simply downloading the official app and having a compatible controller to hand.
When it comes to the final PS Now games announcement for December, Sony is expected to make the reveal on Tuesday, December 1, 2020. Last month did see an earlier reveal date chosen, so there’s always a chance for a surprise over the weekend too.
This is the same day that the new PS Plus games will be released onto the PlayStation Store, with plenty of new games to choose from.
The only downside will be that at least two PS4 games will be removed from the PlayStation Now service on the same day.
This gives gamers just a few more days to stream the titles before they disappear next week.
PS NOW GAMES LEAVING IN DECEMBER
As confirmed by Sony earlier this year, some games added to PS Now will only be available for a limited time. The games being removed from PS Now this week include the following:
