PS5 stock has been coming in thick and fast in the UK in June. Recently GAME, Argos, ShopTo and AO.com have all opened orders up for the PS5 once again. For GAME and Argos it marked the second PS5 restock for June, and it looks like Amazon UK could be about to drop its second restock of the month. The online retail giant last opened orders for the PS5 at the start of June.
And according to a reliable PS5 stock tracker account Amazon UK has received a shipment of up to 8,000 new consoles which are in warehouses now.
The @PS5StockAlertUK Twitter account revealed the size of the latest Amazon UK PlayStation 5 restock.
The PlayStation 5 stock tracker posted: “News: Amazon UK stock has arrived. Around 30+ pallets per warehouse, indicating a stock count of 6-8K. The pallets haven’t been unwrapped and prepared yet, so we are not sure if a delay is possible”.
It had been thought the latest Amazon PS5 restock was going live on June 16.
However, this rumoured PS5 restock date came and went without orders going live again.
This happened as a number of other retailers missed potential PS5 restock dates, which could have been due to stock being “handled slower” than usual.
The @PS5StockAlertUK Twitter posted on Wednesday: “Companies seem to be understaffed, and stock seems to be handled slower, in particular for PS5.”
However, there’s good reason to think the Amazon PS5 restock could drop the week beginning Monday June 21.
The @PS5Instant Twitter previously said the Amazon PS5 restock could go live between June 15 and June 23 with a restock time of 8am to 10am.
So we’re still currently within this rumoured restock window.
And there’s another reason to think PS5 stock could be available within the next few days.
That’s because Amazon Prime Day is fast approaching, and rumour has it PS5 stock could become around then.
Prime Day 2021 falls on June 21 and June 22, with PS5 stock potentially becoming available then.
After a rumoured Amazon PS5 restock date came and went without orders opening the @PS5StockAlertUK Twitter posted: “Personally believe it’ll be pushed to next week however, it’s Prime Day next week so, not sure how that’s going to work out.”
While the stock tracker later went on to add: “Amazon UK has a new listing for the Ratchet and Clank bundle too! As the listing is not complete yet, we assume the drop is next week, looks like Prime Week it is.”
If the PS5 does become available to buy once again from Amazon during Prime Day, it’s unclear if this will only be available to Prime members – or to all Amazon customers.
