Ben, 46, later warned Richard’s exit will “throw production into a spin”.
Speaking to Good Morning Britain’s entertainment editor Richard Arnold, Ben said: “He was a big headline name and they’ve got no one to replace him.”
Richard replied: “Obviously the duty of care with Richard would have been paramount on set at all times but it was felt that perhaps it was escalated and he was taken to hospital for a reason.
