    “Actually that’s not the case,” Blackford replied. “The SNP had an Opposition Day in November where I sort to move a motion of censure on the conduct of the Prime Minister.

    “In the context of that debate, I was allowed to lay the case out that the Prime Minister had lied and had misled the house so there is precedent here.

    “I think people looking on will find it a bit strange that when there is very clear evidence of a Prime Minister that’s misled the House of Commons, someone who’s calling that out is the one that has to be disciplined not the man that should have been thrown out of office quite some time ago for his behaviour.”

    Balls interjected: “You know there are rules in the House of Commons.”
