PlayStation released the latest generation of its console last month, and stores worldwide have fast seen stock of the PS5 sell-out. Gamers are desperate for the next-generation console, which has a new haptic feedback controller and native 4K graphics, with capabilities of up to 8K.
PlayStation has released two consoles, the main PlayStation 5 which retails at £449.99 and a PS5 Digital Edition for £359.99.
The Digital Edition is for players who prefer to download their games straight to console.
Whether customers want the console for themselves or as a Christmas present, stock has been hard to come by.
However, stores are restocking every so often – so it is worth checking sites.

Fans queued online for the latest round of pre-orders, but some were unfortunate.
One tweeted: “Queued for an hour and a half on Game website to try and snag a ps5…when I get in they were gone”.
Another said: “Hour and a half queueing for game website, get to the front, add ps5 to basket, sold out”.
However some were lucky, with one gamer tweeting: “So happy I got my ps5 from game, never checked out so quick before just hope it comes before 24th December paid extra £20 for secure insured delivery as well #ps5ukstock”.
