Education minister Gillian Keegan was challenged over the 101 flights coming to the UK from India despite it being on the red list. Ms Keegan told GMB: “The rules are if you’re a red list country you are not allowed to come to this country unless you have a right to residence. We do know there’s a massive Indian diaspora and there’s a lot of people who have a right to residence here.
“That will be people coming back from those countries.”
Mr Ray interjected: “Hang on, I’m not going to accept that.”
Ms Keegan quipped back at the presenter: “Oh, are you not.”
Mr Ray continued: “There’s hundreds of thousands of Pakistanis who have a right to residence here.

“Why is there only one flight a week coming in from Pakistan?”
Ms Keegan replied: “We don’t put the flights on, I think you’ll find airlines put the flights on.”
