For his signature dish, Gary prepared a venison dish with broccoli and stilton puree which he hoped would represent his nature as a “West Country Boy”.
Gregg called his stilton and broccoli creation a “revelation” and Gary was elated when he got his white apron after the first round and made it straight into the final elimination round.
Unfortunately for Gary and his fans watching from home, his journey ended there as the judges didn’t know what to make of his dish made of many sharp flavours all mixed together.
He prepared pan-fried salmon over goat’s cheese and sun-dried tomato risotto with a sweet pickled salad, but it didn’t wow the judges.
