Michael Jackson explained why he SOLD photos of his baby to the press
Afterwards, he then paid tribute to Diana in his following show, which featured photos and videos of the late Princess.
Jackson told Walters: “In my heart I was saying: ‘I love you Diana. Shine and shine on forever. You are the true princess of the people.'”
Getting emotional, he added: “In words I did not say, but I said it in three minutes by showing a big picture [of Diana] on the jumbotron screens.”
He also explained how he dedicated some songs to the Princess, saying: “I played the song Smile and Gone Too Soon.”
