Filming for the fifth season of Money Heist appears to be winding down in Madrid, and fans are more excited than ever for the Spanish thriller’s return to screens. As anticipation builds for the conclusion of the hit international Netflix series, Úrsula Corberó has shared another update on Instagram.

Spanish actress Úrsula Corberó has released a brand new look from behind the scenes of Money Heist’s fifth and final season.

The series lead took to her personal Instagram page to drop a dramatic shot of her character Tokyo looking battle-ready.

In the new black and white photo, Tokyo brandishes a modified assault weapon and has strapped a number of grenades and explosives to herself.

While the new sneak peek still doesn’t reveal anything about the plot of Part Five, Corberó’s latest update has confirmed Money Heist will bow out with an action-packed finale.

Her Spanish caption for the new post roughly translated reads: “‘Madre mía’, you are going to freak out over Part Five’”.

Netflix subscribers are already preparing for some insane and unpredictable twists after Part Four left the series on some huge cliffhangers.

Following the unexpected death of Nairobi (Alba Flores), the Professor (Álvaro Morte) received another shock when Alicia Sierra (Najwa Nimri) broke into his hideout.

As production on season five reaches the final stages, Úrsula Corberó has confirmed fan suspicions and teased even more surprises are on the way when Money Heist returns.

In the meantime, updates from the cast and crew have been keeping fans busy during the show’s last hiatus.

When the image was posted on Reddit, one viewer commented: “Vancouver Media’s caption for the same picture says ‘Do you want the chaos? So get ready!’ So is a teaser on the way?”

Following a number of clues from the Money Heist cast, filming for season five is speculated to wrap up over the next few days.

Having shot most of the footage for the final season, the first teaser trailer for the show’s conclusion could also be on the way in the coming weeks.

Spoilers and plot details are being kept tightly under wraps, but an official trailer would finally give fans an idea of what’s in store for the final ten episodes.

Meanwhile, Álex Pina sadly indicated the last part of the series probably won’t be hitting screens until after the summer, potentially in September.

There’s still a long wait to go before Money Heist returns, but excitement among the show’s biggest fans has shown no sign of dying down as more news from behind the scenes continues to pour in.

Money Heist Parts 1-4 are available to stream on Netflix.
