Thursday could prove to be a busy day for PlayStation 5 stock trackers looking to lock down a next-gen console.
Three major UK retailers have been linked to a new PS5 restock this week, but fans have been left waiting for several days for an update.
And having waited through new delays, it now looks like June 17 will be the day when the PS5 is back in stock.
It should be noted that this is based on stock tracker predictions, which have proven pretty reliable during 2021.
And based on the latest information, Amazon UK, GAME and Argos all could have stock ready in the next 24-hours.
Here is what we know so far about each stock drop and what we expect to happen during Thursday, June 17:
An Argos PS5 stock drop has been touted for some time and it appears the retailer will be ready to drop its latest shipment early on June 17.
From what has been shared so far, the Argos PS5 stock drop could start early, with gamers being warned to be ready to try and buy a console at around 1am BST.
This will make it the first drop of June 17 but there is also a chance that it will be delayed again.
If this happens, the next Argos stock drop is expected to happen next week, around June 22.
The Argos website is notorious for crashing and being unable to complete purchases when site traffic is high.
Stock trackers suggest using the mobile Argos app and keeping an eye on local store listings.
Argos usually chooses to release its stock regionally, meaning it can take hours for the right stock option to arrive in your local area.
This can lead to a lot of site traffic and issues buying a PlayStation 5 console in real time.
The next PS5 stock drop has been leaked for June 17 and we even have a rough idea what time it might start.
According to the latest news from stock tracker accounts, the new PS5 restock will start at 8:30am and is expected to last until consoles are sold out.
Gamers are also being warned that GAME are planning to sell a lot of bundles, with the PS5 Stock Alert account on Twitter explaining:
“GAME is ready with some new Ratchet & Clank bundles as well as the normal bundles they usually do. As we have mentioned since Monday this week with our strong source, GAME will drop these bundles June 17 (9-11am).
“We have realised the first half of this week hasn’t been what we expected compared to usual. Companies seem to be understaffed, and stock seems to be handled slower, in particular for PS5. As always, we’ll keep you updated with the latest whilst you go on with your day.”
Amazon UK has been linked to a PS5 restock on June 17 but could be the stock drop with the least chance of happening.
Having been delayed several times this week, it’s reportedly taking longer to process and might mean further delays.
If something does happen, Gamers are being warned that the new PlayStation 5 consoles will be sold during the morning, between 8am and 10am BST.
The Amazon UK site usually runs better under strain but still comes with a few kinks worth mentioning.
