On Saturday, April 27, Mike Gaffney put on an entertaining comedy show at Governor’s Comedy Club in Levittown on Long Island. #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the scoop.

Gaffney headlined for a great turnout of fans. Gaffney spoke about performing comedy routine for cruises and poked fun at some of his experiences there, as well as his weight, and raising two kids as a single father. His comedic set was clever, witty, relevant, and relatable.

In addition, Gaffney interacted well with the audience and incorporated them as part of his act, which was fun and spontaneous. Gaffney is worth seeing live whenever he is in town.

Most importantly, he commanded respect and attention during the show, and he was able to silence several people that were rude and having side conversations and were talking over him during his set, and rightfully so.

Mike Gaffney has been performing for over 15 years. According to his IMDb page, he has appeared on The Artie Lange Show on Direct TV, he was on the first and third seasons of Gotham Comedy Live on AXS TV and was a semi-finalist on season 8 of NBC’s Last Comic Standing. The executive Producer Wanda Sykes was so impressed with Mike, she used his clip to promote Last Comic Standing on NBC’s “The Ellen Show” as well as ABC’s “The View.”
