The Beatles: Paul McCartney ‘WASN’T trying very hard’ when recording new album

Speaking to the BBC earlier this week, Paul explained how he created the new record.

He confessed: “I was just messing around, never suspecting for one second that this was going to be an album.”

Because the album was recorded through the pandemic, Paul included some nods to better times.

One of the songs’ lyrics say: “When the cold days come, we’ll wish that we had seized the day.”
