Back to the Future the Musical heading to West End: WATCH new trailer plus tickets info

Earlier this year, Back to the Future the Musical opened in Manchester to rave reviews. But the run was sadly cut short by the coronavirus pandemic. Nevertheless, the time travel comedy is now heading to London’s West End.

Back to the Future the Musical will open at the Adelphi Theatre in Summer 2021.

Fans can book tickets from today, with dates currently ranging from May 14 to September 26, here.

The cheapest seats are from £19.55, while group and educational discounts are available.

A new trailer for the musical sees Olly Dobson’s Marty McFly powering up the DeLorean time machine.

The 81-year-old added: “I’m only sorry I don’t have a real time machine so that I could see it tomorrow.”

Back to the Future celebrates its 35th anniversary this year and the original stars have honoured the film.

Michael J Fox posted on his Instagram a picture of his Marty McFly playing Johnny B Goode at the Enchantment Under The Sea Dance on November 12, 1955 at Hill Valley Hill School.

The 59-year-old wrote: “It’s been 35 years since Back to the Future was released… woah that’s heavy.”

Fans will know that as Marty’s iconic 80s catchphrase from the movie trilogy.

Meanwhile, Christopher Lloyd posted a still of Doc and Marty from Back to the Future’s time travel experiment in 1985 on his social media.

The 81-year-old wrote: “July 3rd. 1985. 35 years since the release of Back to the Future… To be a part of something so special and to see it still loved so many years later is astonishing.

“Thank you to everyone. Please stay safe – Doc Brown.”
