GPs and local vaccination services have been asked to ensure every care home resident in their local area is vaccinated by the end of January.

PM Boris announced everyone in England must stay at home except for permitted reasons from midnight tonight.
The lockdown extends to all schools and colleges, which will switch to remote learning until the middle of February.
Despite the tightening restrictions, Boris added that he believed the country was entering “the last phase of the struggle”.
