After the clip had played, Phillip slammed the couple’s decision to speak out yet again following their interview with Oprah Winfrey.
“The thing is there’s been an enormous amount of sympathy over the race issue, the mental health issue,” Phillip said.
“But looking at the polls that are being done at the moment, that sympathy seems to be ebbing away quite quickly.
“There is this feeling that you’ve made your point, essentially shut up now and get on with your quiet American life.
