While in separate tweet the account also said rumours are circulating that Currys PC World could be getting more PS5 stock in the lead up to Christmas.
The account posted: “No news at the moment. I’ve heard that @curryspcworld are preparing to drop stock in the run up to Christmas.”
Elsewhere the @PS5STOCKNOW Twitter in a post online highlighted some upcoming dates where the PS5 is rumoured to be back in stock at a number of major retailers.
Here are the rumoured restock dates: Tesco – on December 13, GAME UK – on December 14, Amazon UK – on December 14, ASDA – after Christmas, Smyths Toys – early 2021.
The ASDA Service Team Twitter account has confirmed that they won’t be getting any more PS5 stock before Christmas, backing up what @PS5STOCKNOW tweeted.
Replying to one customer, the @ASDAServiceTeam account wrote: “Sorry to disappoint but we won’t have any PS5 stock until after Christmas now. We don’t have a date for this yet.”
