The Walking Dead: World Beyond finale draws ‘direct’ connections to Rick Grimes trilogy

TWD mastermind Scott M. Gimple and primary director Greg Nicotero have already teased Rick Grimes will come face-to-face with some horrific zombie experiments in the new films.
Theatrical releases are currently in standstill during the coronavirus pandemic, but the showrunners have assured fans screenwriting is going strong and Rick will be back on screens soon.
The Walking Dead returns March 1, 2021 on AMC.
