Time to upgrade your TV? Samsung, Sony and LG prices slashed in mega Currys sale event

Currys is offering colossal savings on 4K TVs made by the likes of Samsung, Sony and LG. The high-street retailer has launched these deals for anyone looking to upgrade their telly set in time for big sporting events like the Winter Olympics and Six Nations rugby this month. And whatever your budget you’ll be able to find an LED, QLED or OLED 4K TV that’s right for you, with savings of up to £1,000 to be had in the latest Currys sale.

The biggest saving that can be had is on LG’s huge 83inch OLED Smart 4K TV, which usually is priced at £5,999 – but right now you can get £1,000 off.

If you don’t want to spend that much, then you can still make a tidy saving and pick up a bargain.

Samsung, along with LG, are the two most popular names when it comes to 4K TVs. And right now you can pick up a 50inch telly from the Samsung Galaxy makers, which usually costs £479 – but has been reduced by £90 to £389.

If you’re still rocking an HD TV (or maybe even an HD Ready TV) and have been thinking of upgrading for awhile then the bargains that can be had in the latest Currys sale are the perfect reason to upgrade your set-up in your living room.

Besides 4K TVs, Currys is also offering bargains on a range of other products.

If you’re after a new soundbar to compliment your snazzy new 4K TV then you can also make a big saving on soundbars made by BOSE and JBL.

The JBL Bar 9.1 Wireless Sound Bar with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X has had its price reduced from £899 to £799 in the Currys sale.

While a cheaper option is the BOSE Solo 5 Sound Bar which has had its price slashed by £70, from £229 to £159.

Elsewhere, besides top tech for your living room Currys is also running some great deals on wireless headphones.

Popular choices such as the Sony WH1000XM4 Wireless Bluetooth Noise Cancelling Headphones and the BOSE Wireless Bluetooth Noise Cancelling Headphones have also received a price cut.
