You’re Ready to Change Your Life When You Know Enough is Enough with Rae Davenport

Most people in life are ready for change but they ignore the signs. They believe that if they continue on the path they’re going, that they won’t need anything else. But that is not the case.

The truth is, nothing changes if nothing changes. You first need to be aware that you don’t like where you are and with that awareness comes the courage to be able to get up and change your life.

That’s why in this article we’ve interviewed Rae Davenport whose goal is to uplift, inspire and motivate millions to greatness so that you can change your life or even small parts of your life. For those who don’t know Rae yet, she was born and raised in New Orleans, LA with an undeniable passion to help others. She has always found herself being a listening ear, a supportive shoulder, or giving an encouraging word to someone in their time of need. She believes in speaking life to those who may have a hard time seeing just how valuable they really are.

Change is absolutely necessary if you want to grow and get more than you desire.

Truth be told, not everyone wants to change. Some people like where they are and they don’t have a desire for more and that’s fine but for us, I’m going to give you some signs that may help you indicate that you’re ready to shift some things in your life. One sign is your dreams and your desires.

Dreams & Desires

When your dreams and desires won’t leave you alone, that’s your soul telling you that you need to start making a change. No matter how hard you try to focus on what’s going on now, you still notice there’s a sense of unfulfillment, Even when you’re doing everything within your power to appreciate where you are and what you’ve been blessed with. You notice you’re not operating in the gift that you’ve been called to operate in.

When you wake up, you’re thinking about it. When you’re at work, when you’re driving you’re thinking about it. It won’t go away. No matter how hard you try.

If you don’t build your dream, someone will hire you and pay you just enough to help you build theirs. The issue with that is that your dreams don’t expire, they’re with you every day but if you continue to ignore it, put it off or make excuses for why you can’t do it, it will send you in a space of regret.

The best way to make your dreams come true is to wake up and make them happen.

Always Stressed Out

Another sign that you need change is that you are always stressed out. You’re on edge all the time. Whether that be the dog barking, the children playing, anything becomes a problem. I’ve had it to the point where the sound of text messages annoys me or even laughter. This isn’t a good space to be in because then you start to dread life.

You notice you can’t focus on anything and you’re on an emotional roller coaster. You notice that your anxiety is through the roof. You also start to worry about not only the big things but also the little things. You seem unhappy all of the time and when you feel like you’re carrying everyone else’s burden no one seems like they want to be around you.

Stress overload is going to take you out. This is not the way to live. There are certain parts of life that will bring their own stress, which is natural. It’s beyond your control but just like Winston Churchill stated “when I look back on all these worries, I remember the story of an old man who was on his deathbed that  he had a lot of trouble in his life, most of which never happened.”
