There are some limitations. Santa isn’t able to do everything you’d usually be able to do with Alexa. For example, while he can flip a coin for you …he’s not able to roll a dice quite yet. It’s possible this will be updated as we get closer and closer to Christmas, but if not, it’s easy enough to repeat the same command with “Alexa” at the start and get the response you were looking for.
These hiccups are few and far between though, for the most part, you’ll be able to use the little Saint Nick inside your Echo Dot to do everything you’d want to do with Alexa. For example, Father Christmas is perfectly capable of playing anything you want from Spotify – and will even introduce the track in a jolly way (“I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus” is a personal favourite, although you might get more enjoyment from Santa DJ-ing a playlist of Deathcore bands. Ho Ho Ho, indeed).
