Windows Latest reported that Google will begin rolling out this feature with Chrome 92.
The ‘experimental rollout’ of the feature will start with that build before being released to more users in the following months.
Google went on to add: “We already shipped this feature for Android. We want to start experimenting with back-forward cache on desktop environments”.
It’s unclear whether the feature will be enabled for all Chrome users, but those interested in the new time-saving tool will be able to enable it manually via Chrome flags.
